About Capps Plumbing & Sewer
Capps Plumbing & Sewer is a family-owned plumbing and sewer company in Wheeling, Illinois, serving Chicago's northwest suburbs since 1996. Founded by Joe and Mary Capps, the business is still family-run, with their children actively involved alongside a team of licensed plumbing professionals. The company is fully licensed, bonded and insured.
For homes, Capps handles emergency plumbing (burst and frozen pipes, leak detection, gas line leaks), water heaters and tankless water heaters, water treatment, valve repair, lead service line replacement and water line repair and replacement. Sewer and drain work includes clogged drains and backups, hydro-jetting, tree root removal, pipe milling and descaling, sewer odor detection and camera location, sewer repair and replacement, trenchless sewer repair, overhead sewer conversions and excavation. They also install and service sump pumps with battery backup, ejector pumps and flood control systems, and handle bathroom, kitchen, laundry and fixture plumbing.
Commercial services cover commercial and property-management plumbing, commercial hot water systems, pump systems, basin repair and installation, fire hydrant repair and maintenance, and sewer and drain maintenance programs. Residential service reaches a 15–20 mile radius — including Wheeling, Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove and Northbrook — and commercial projects extend to downtown Chicago for larger accounts.
Emergency plumbing service is available 24/7, and the company offers the Capps Advantage+ maintenance plan and financing options.
